Parents can keep The Guild strong by volunteering, and attending Guild meetings – please join in on the fun!! ![]() In addition to annual scholarships through both the general fund and the Sandra Marr Scholarship Funds, recent donations by the Guild to the schools include: the purchase of various necessities for the musicals, several microphone systems, financing for student trips, curtains for the HS auditorium, food for student performers at dress rehearsals, a piano, stage crew materials, supplies for Empty Bowls, an elementary school sound system, awards and trophies for multiple events, and support for the projects of various faculty members that benefit the students directly. The money for these accounts is raised primarily through the sale of refreshments at all performing arts events, through donations, and at Broadway Night and the Spring Extravaganza. The Guild has a General Operating Fund, a Shannon Newell Memorial Fund, a Sandra Marr Scholarship Fund and a Joseph Fallon Memorial Scholarship. Since its inception, the VPAG has given both volunteer and financial support for the arts to provide things that can’t be accommodated by the regular school budget. This includes students who are enrolled in art, chorus or any band activity along with the extracurricular drama, musical, stage and costume crews and art club.
